Blomberg Refrigerators

The Blomberg Company which was responsible for the manufacturing of the first automatic washing machine 30 years after its founding in 1883, has now branched out into development of other appliances. Since its accumulation by the European brand Arselik in 2002, it has released a new line of appliances which finally came out in 2009. The former washing machine-centered brand has now found its way into the cooling and refrigerating business. Blomberg refrigerators offer a wide array of different units depending on size, design, and function. From refrigerators for regular home usage, Blomberg has also developed small compact refrigerators, counter-depth refrigerators, and units for specialized functions, from chest freezers, wine refrigerators, to the elegant French door model.

Such refrigerators may also be fitted with other functions such as an ice maker. These standard refrigerators typically have a storage capacity of 14 cubic feet. Bottom freezer refrigerators have also been developed by Blomberg for easily storing and taking out frozen goods like meat, which are usually heavy and frozen solid. The advantage of having a bottom-freezer design is that it lessens the risk of having these types of products just slip out of the freezer and dropping on the ground which could lead to the ruin of the product or injuries. Counter-depth units on the other hand, are wider and higher but shallower than standard units. Their sizes have been adjusted to fit in between kitchen cabinets and counters to avoid the inconvenience of having to remodel a kitchen for the sake of an appliance.

Blomberg also offers mini compact refrigerator units. Blomberg’s compact refrigerators which are lighter and easy to move are ideal as secondary refrigerators for one’s home or for those who have a more modest and smaller living space. Some units may also be optionally customized to have soda dispensers since these kinds of refrigerators have been popularly been used for such purpose.

For more specialized needs, Blomberg refrigerators supplies chest freezers which are ideal for storing meat, or other frozen goods which are essential for business owners running meat shops, restaurants, groceries, and the like. Both restaurateurs and wine enthusiasts will also adore Blomberg’s wine refrigerators that though lacking some of the functions of standard refrigerator units such as shelves or a crisper, it has racks installed specifically for holding bottles. Its cooling system has also been uniquely made by Blomberg to optimize the chilling, storing, and preservation of wine.  Both the chest freezer and wine refrigerator come as well in a range of sizes.

Finally, with its newly developed energy efficient technology, a Blomberg refrigerator is found by consumers as one of the most energy and cost-efficient units that one can own without compromising style and most of all, quality as many of their valued patrons would agree. However, Blomberg refrigerators are a bit pricey. Standard refrigerators range from a little over $1000 to fancier models that cost over $2000. Price aside, customers appear to be very pleased with their units’ performance. Many customers have time and again praised the stylishness of their Blomberg refrigerators and as well as the roominess of its storage and its efficiency as a top-notch appliance.
